We’ve released the ChalkySticks Trainer app (separate from ChalkySticks) for iOS and Android. It’s a training tool that lets you shoot racks of 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, billiards, and more. We will continue to update it with more drills for you to practice and you can even import your own through ChalkySticks Pad.Learn about cueball control and angles by playing billiards. The following images show you how to make a diagram in your desktop browser using Pad, then shoot it out in the browser as well:The Experimental “Play Rack” up top will open a web version of ChalkySticks TrainerNow you can shoot your diagramsOne of the best features of Trainer is the ability to Shuffle racks and Undo your shot. Both of these options are available by pressing and holding the menu button the bottom left.Shuffle: Re-arranges all the balls currently on the table in a random order. This is a great way to start off your rack and getting a random layout. It’s our favorite way to practice 9-ball layouts.Undo: Trainer is about learning how to shoot your shots. We encourage people to set their speed and english, shoot the shot, watch the angle.. then undo it and try again. Pay attention to the difference in cue ball action. The menu appears on the left by pressing and holding the menu icon. The second best way of using trainer is by trying out our drills. We have shot validation built-in to determine if you shot it correctly. Some drills allow you to touch rails or other balls, while other drills require you shoot it perfectly. We have a list that we’ll update from time to time with different and better drills over time. Our drills are designed in Pad and executed via TrainerThis is a brand new application so look forward to updates and bug fixes. It may not be perfect yet, but improvements are made all the time. Send us feedback if you find an issue and we’ll do our best to address it.Look forward to acquiring new cues, a better game-mode, multiplayer, Snooker, and more in the future!Snooker is coming soon!
